Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions
Do I need a new fuel card?
No. FuelAtlas works with your existing fuel cards and discount agreements. We don't sell cards or negotiate rates — we route your drivers to where your existing deals apply.
How quickly will I see savings?
Most fleets recover the subscription cost within the first week. Full compliance typically reaches 95%+ within 30 days.
What if I have owner-operators and company drivers?
FuelAtlas uses different optimization logic for each. Owner-ops get cheapest diesel on route. Company drivers get stops optimized for your discount network and IFTA.
What integrations do you support?
ELD/telematics (Samsara, Motive, KeepTruckin), TMS (Alvys, DataTruck), and all major fuel card networks. See our integrations page.
What counts as an "active vehicle" for billing?
A vehicle is "active" from the moment you add it to your fleet (manually or via telematics sync) until you explicitly deactivate it in the Fleet screen. Billing is per active vehicle per month. Adding a vehicle mid-month → billed only for the remaining days (prorated, charged the next day). Deactivating mid-month → no refund for the current month, but no charge next month. Full detail in Terms § 4.7.
What if my telematics provider auto-adds vehicles I don't want billed?
In your Integration settings, turn off "Automatically import new vehicles". With it OFF, sync only refreshes vehicles already in FuelAtlas — new ones in your telematics platform are ignored until you import them manually. You stay in control of what's billed.
